We prefer to treat from 12 years and over. All of our practitioners hold advanced DBS certificates however any patient under 18 would be expected to bring an adult to their appointment.

We have several practitioners within the team who all have different skills and specialities. We will always ensure you are seen by the right person for your condition so if you have any questions regarding this you can give us a call or contact us here.

Depending on what you are coming to see us for – yes! This will either be joint mobilisations or soft tissue work. However we will very rarely do a whole session of hands on Physiotherapy but combine manual hands on therapy with exercises and movement. If you are wanting a massage therapist we also offer this service .

Your first consultation should take about an hour. The first half of the session will include taking a detailed history of your health and reason for seeking treatment. Details of how your symptoms began, factors affecting your daily life and the progression of the complaint will be asked.

Your medical history will include questions about previous illnesses, hospitalisations, general trauma/accidents, allergies, medications and family health problems.

Some patients may benefit from just one treatment whilst others may require a course of therapy and some manage their symptoms  with a long-term approach for conditions such as osteoarthritis. Often, the chronicity of a problem may determine the treatment length.
