Qualifications

BSc (Hons) Osteopathy, CrossFit Level 2 Coach, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), member of the Institute of Osteopathy (iO), Applied Functional Science CPD

Career

I’ve spent over a decade in the health and movement world, including ten years as founder and Head Coach of CrossFit 17, building one of the region’s most respected training communities from the ground up. That experience gave me a huge understanding of how people move, train and break down under load, and it shapes everything about how I approach patient care today. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy and have a particular passion for biomechanics, getting to the root of why things go wrong, not just treating the symptom. I’m deeply committed to my field but equally open to other disciplines, and I’m always looking to develop my skills and broaden my thinking.

Speciality Areas

I take a holistic, whole-body approach and combine hands-on osteopathic treatment with corrective and rehabilitative exercise prescription. I’m particularly interested in functional movement: understanding how the body compensates, adapts and, with the right support, rebuilds.

Hobbies

When I’m not in clinic you’ll usually find me with a guitar in my hands, out on my motorbike (won on an online raffle) which may or may not have triggered a midlife crisis, or at home with my family. I have a deep love of music: heavy rock and house, and I’ll openly admit my Xbox gets more attention than it probably should.

Fun Fact

I actually hold a degree in Film Studies, and if I had my time again, I’d seriously consider pursuing acting. The clinic’s gain is Hollywood’s loss.

Lincoln Wu Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncturist

Career

My interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine began in childhood through early exposure to classical herbal medicine practice within my family. After relocating to the United Kingdom, I further developed my understanding of Chinese internal philosophy, meditation, and mind–body balance principles. Prior to clinical practice, I worked for over ten years supporting individuals facing complex personal and social wellbeing challenges within a large organisation’s welfare sector. This strengthened my communication skills, empathy, and patient-centred approach.

Speciality Areas

Musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions; neurological rehabilitation support (including stroke-related conditions and trigeminal neuralgia); digestive and internal medicine disorders; stress, anxiety, and emotional health; men’s and women’s health; fertility support; integrative cancer care support alongside conventional treatment. Herbal therapy forms an important part of my clinical approach where appropriate, as the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine is traditionally considered to provide deeper and more sustained therapeutic support.

Personal Interests

Outside clinical practice, I enjoy gardening, meditation, practising Yang Style Tai Chi, swimming, cooking, and home improvement projects.

Fun Fact

Regular Tai Chi practice informs my clinical understanding of posture, movement mechanics, and energetic balance during treatment.

Julia Crone Operations, Personal Trainer & MNU Certified Nutritionist

Career

I’ve worked in health and wellbeing for over a decade. Along the way I’ve qualified as a personal trainer, a CrossFit Level 2 coach, a Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist and most recently an MNU Certified Nutritionist.

Speciality Areas

My approach has always been about meeting people where they are. I’m not interested in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all programmes, I want to understand what makes you tick, what’s holding you back, and what would genuinely make a difference to how you feel and move. Whether that’s through training, nutrition or just having an honest conversation about where to start, I’ll always try to build you up rather than overwhelm you.

Hobbies

Outside of the clinic and my other full-time role working in safeguarding in sport, I love spending time with my family, walking in the Peak District with our giant ginger hippo of a dog, playing tennis and getting to live music whenever I can.

Fun Fact

I played national tennis as a child and regional level hockey, netball and athletics. I have a fierce backhand and love nothing more than having a racquet in my hand.

Craig and Jules, the founders of Joint Health Space (JHS), have devoted the past decade to advancing health and wellness. Their journey began with the creation of a functional fitness gym, where they emphasised fitness, movement, and strength conditioning while fostering a supportive environment for overall well-being. As their expertise grew, so did their passion, leading them to incorporate osteopathy, nutrition, and psychology into their practice, furthering their commitment to holistic health.

Understanding the interconnectedness of all aspects of health,  Craig and Jules shaped Joint Health Space to offer a comprehensive, holistic approach to well-being. They recognise the challenge of navigating the overwhelming sea of health information available online and through social media and have created a multidisciplinary clinic, aiming to simplify your access to the best health, wealth, and well-being services right here in Mansfield.

Their mission is clear: to provide a supportive, informed, and cohesive health & recovery service that caters to the needs of their community. At Joint Health Space, it is more than a clinic; it’s a movement towards better, more integrated care for everyone to live life better.
